Plus, you can choose from seven correction modes to meet your pet’s needs—tone only, three levels of static or three levels of static plus tone. The mat also has a safety timeout, so if your paw-tner keeps her paws on the mat for more than eight seconds, the correction stops.

• Remove the battery cover by pressing down on the arrow and sliding it forward.
• Install a new 9V alkaline battery.
• Lay the ScatMat down with the buttons facing up.
• Snap the power pack to the buttons on the ScatMat. Ensure the buttons are snapped tightly by pushing down firmly.
• You are now ready to test your ScatMat.
