The SportDOG Contain + Train System combines the capabilities of an in-ground fence and remote training for the ultimate in dog training. Use different modes for the appropriate level of training. Containment mode allows the collar receiver to pick up radio signals sent by the fence transmitter, sending a safe, static simulation when your pup wonders too far. Training mode switches the collar receiver so it only listens to radio signals sent from the remote transmitter, allowing you to train your pup inside or outside of the boundary area. The final mode allows the collar to receive radio signals from both the fence transmitter and remote transmitter at the same time, giving you the ability to simultaneous train your dog while he remains contained.
